Configuring your FortiCall Device

Welcome to FortiCall.

Once your FortiCall service has been activated, you will receive an e-mail with login credentials to access your billing, see your call reports, manage your FortiCall service, change your password, initiate number ports and more.

The authentication name and password to connect your system to the Forticall trunk will be emailed to you seperately.

Please note that the SIP username and password are case sensitive!

If you have not already configured your system for your FortiCall service, do the following three steps:

Activate the FortiCall profile

  1. In the FortiVoice management software, go to VoIP Configuration
  2. Select a Service Provider Profile
  3. Check the Activate Profile box
  4. In the Service Provider pull-down menu, select FortiCall, and click Update Configuration
  5. Enter The SIP Auth Username in the User Account field
  6. Enter The SIP Password in the Password field

Activate your numbers

  1. Go to the VoIP Numbers page
  2. Select a number slot and check the Activate VoIP Number box
  3. Select FortiCall in the Select a VoIP Profile pulldown menu
  4. Enter your FortiCall phone number in the Phone Number section. You can also configure your call handling on this page
  5. Repeat for each FortiCall number

Assign a line hunt group

  1. Go to the Line Hunt Groups page
  2. Select a Line Hunt Group
  3. Under Hunt Group Assignments, in the Line type pull-down menu, select FortiCall
  4. Save settings to the system

You can now receive calls and make outbound calls by dialing the hunt group and then the number you want to call.
